SRA Trustees Wanted
The Social Research Association (SRA) is looking to make three
new appointments to its Trustee Board. The organisation is keen
to receive nominations from people active in the social research
sector, from either the research producer community [academia,
the commercial or not for profit sectors] or from the research
commissioner/user community [practice, commissioning or policy].
The SRA was founded in 1978 to advance
the conduct, development and application of social research in
the UK. Being an SRA Trustee
is a voluntary role, initially for two years, and an excellent
opportunity to shape the future of the organisation and contribute
to the development of the social research community. It will involve
attendance at periodic Trustee Board meetings held in London and
through telephone conferencing and contributing to the organisation’s
programme of work and development initiatives.
The closing date for applications/nominations is 16th December
2011.
