3rd ESRC Research Methods Festival St Catherine's College, Oxford, 30th June- 3rd July 2008

Bookings for the third ESRC Research Methods Festival are open and can be made via the National Centre for Research Methods website. The festival runs from 30th June to 3rd July 2008 and will be held at St Catherine's College, Oxford. Its programme includes choices from 69 sessions that cover all aspects of developments in social science research methods. The intended audience is social science researchers from all disciplines, all career stages, and all sectors. Almost all sessions currently still have spaces available, but some are filling up quite quickly.

The registration fees are: £50 per full day including lunch (£30/day for UK-based PhD students). Accommodation on site is also available costing £60 per night including dinner and breakfast (£80 en suite). For more information and to book please see the NCRM website http://www.ncrm.ac.uk .

BSPS Annual Conference - Call For Papers

The call for papers for the 2008 Annual Conference of British Society for Population Studies can be accessed at: http://www.lse.ac.uk/collections/BSPS/annualConference/Default.htm and may be of interest to our members. The Conference itself will take place at the University of Manchester from 10-12th September.
