Now that you are a registered member, here are a few pointers to help you get the most out of this facility.

Within each of the general topic categories there are one or more “threads”. A thread is a particular theme. To start a new thread/post, click on the link for the Forum category you are interested in and click the 'New Thread' button. In the next screen add a title for your thread/post and enter your text - the formatting options are similar to most word processing programs. When you are finished you can preview your post by clicking the 'Preview Post' button or submit your post by clicking the 'Submit New Thread' button. After your post is submitted, you may edit it by clicking the 'Edit' button (you must be logged in to do this, and you may edit only your own posts)

To reply to a thread/post, click on the thread/post you are interested in, and click the 'Post Reply' button. In the next screen add a title for your thread/post and enter your text. When you are finished you can preview your reply by clicking the 'Preview Post' button or submit your reply by clicking the 'Submit Reply' button. If you wish to quote the original text in the post, click the 'Quote' button instead of the 'Post Reply' button and continue as above.

You may also edit your own details. Click on “Members List” then on your own name then to see your full details click on “User Options” and log in. Many of the options that are then revealed you will not need to alter but there is one that you may find useful. Under “Browsing Options” there is one called “Automatic Thread Subscription Mode”. If you want to receive an automatic email when someone adds a post to one of the threads to which you have already contributed you can choose to do so – instantly, daily or weekly.
