New Welsh Assembly Government Advisory Group

The Welsh Assembly Government is setting up an advisory group as part of a projecf to produce household estimates and projections by local authority for Wales. The Group, meeting only once or twice, will represent users needs, agree the broad methodology and its fitness for purpose and the dissemination of the results. If any members would like to volunteer to be on the advisory group or would like to be kept in touch with developments of this project please contact Liz Heal, Environment Sustainability and Household Statistics at the Welsh Assembly Government. SRA Cymru Training Days

Training is vitally important to the future of social research. The SRA runs an extensive training programme which includes courses on:

  • Sampling
  • Questionnaire design
  • Quantitative analysis
  • Qualitative methods
  • Qualitative analysis
  • Report writing and presentations
  • Commissioning and managing research

For details of the training days being run this year please see the main SRA Training page or contact the SRA Administrator. Fees are normally: members £125.00 and non-members £185.00 (includes membership of SRA for one year at £55.00).

If you wish to book a place print out and complete our Training Booking Form (.doc 27k) and return it with payment or invoice request to the SRA Administrator.
